Manish Arora is the king of couture in India, and he took over Paris Fashion Week with his extravagant style that knows no bounds.
The New Delhi–based designer made his name as creative director at the French fashion house Paco Rabanne between 2011 and 2012.
Earlier in the week, Manish's ready-to-wear collection was showcased for Fall-Winter 2016 with an array of colours that were fun, quirky and imaginative. The collection is titled "Hell’s Belles." That was the perfect name to fit the look, which was a far cry from his famous blingy looks. The models also carried the clothes well, inspired by the American '90s crime drama Twin Peaks and everyone’s favourite sweets, Haribo gummy bears.

Manish makes a point of attending the Burning Man festival every year, and this also influenced the collection with a twist of Africa mixed in.

He also threw a true American look into the basket, adding in fuchsia cowboy boots to match the rest of the collection.
To make things even more different, Manish called on an old friend, German photographer Ellen Von Unwerth, who was a model around 10 years ago. She walked the runway for her pal. Even at 62 years old, she managed to slay on the ramp.

Looking at pictures of the collection, you can see Manish himself dressed the models in his outfits. Their hair was put up and crimped, and the show even threw in a purple dyed dog that finishes off the whole look.
Manish said, “I think for me fashion is about being creative. I think fashion is not fashion if it’s not creative. It’s very important, at least for myself. I need to be creative to be inspired to make something new every time. Like, I could never make black clothes for example.”
