Bollywood actor Tusshar Kapoor recently turned to Twitter to show off his new baby to the world — who was born via surrogacy.
The practice is unheard of for single parents in that part of the entertainment realm, but in Hollywood, it's more common.
Here are six other celebs who opted for single parenthood through a surrogate pregnancy.

The openly gay Latino pop star became the father of twins Matteo and Valentino through a surrogate mother in August of 2008.
Martin didn’t see his surrogate as rented space but stated in an interview that he had a strong connection with the woman and saw her as an “angelic being.”
2. Michael Jackson

The king of pop’s youngest son, Prince Michael Jackson II, AKA Blanket, was born via secret surrogate in 2002. After Jackson’s death, rumours spread that his surrogate was a Mexican nurse called Helena.
Michael had apparently paid her $20,000 for her services.
3. Lucy Liu

The Kill Bill and Elementary star welcomed her surrogate son, Rockwell Lloyd Liu, into the world in 2015. Liu stated in 2013 that she wanted children but that “it just hasn't happened yet.”
Liu is notoriously private about her personal life but is known to work with children on behalf of UNICEF.
4. Perez Hilton.

The celeb gossip blogger became a father for the second time when he announced the arrival his new baby on his website. But he didn't reveal any details about the baby — not even their gender.
Perez has never revealed the identity of this child's surrogate mother.
5. Brian Singer

The frequent X-Men franchise director paid his best friend and Queer as Folk actress Michelle Clunie $1,000,000 to deliver his first child.

During the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, Ronaldo’s son was born to an unknown surrogate mother in the United States. As soon as Spain booted Portugal from the tournament, Ronaldo was on the first flight to meet his newborn.
The soccer player allegedly paid up to $10 million to keep the biological mother’s identity a secret. He now has sole custody of Cristiano Jr.
