The star-studded event was hosted by Zayn Malik's supermodel girlfriend, Gigi Hadid. Drake stole the show, walking away with five awards, including Best Artist and Best Hip-Hop Video of the Year. Nick Jonas dedicated his award to Orlando.

Indo-Canadian YouTuber Jus Reign was one of the presenters last night, along with Hailey Baldwin, Shemar Moore and Amber Rose. If you couldn't get enough of him on TV, then you can catch him documenting behind-the-scenes footage from the red carpet and the stage on Snapchat.
Alessia Cara stole hearts by performing "Wild Things," and Shawn Mendes sang "Treat You Better." Other performers included Ryan Lewis and Macklemore and Tegan & Sarah.
