Celebrity Clasico 2016, a football match between Bollywood stars and Indian cricketers, took place at the Mumbai Football Arena on Saturday.
The All Heart Football team, property of the Virat Kohli Foundation, was captained by Virat Kohli. Other players included Mahendra Singh Dhoni, R. Ashwin, Shikhar Dhawan, Harbhajan Singh and Yuvraj Singh.
The All Stars Football Club is run by Abhishek Bachchan's charity, Playing for Humanity. The team had Ranbir Kapoor as captain. Some of the other members of the team were Aditya Roy Kapur, Shoojit Sircar, Raj Kundra, Dino Morea and Abhishek Bachchan.
The match raised awareness and funds for drought-affected people of Maharashtra.

Bollywood and cricket stars came together for their first match after three years. The last match was played in New Delhi, where the cricketers had been victorious.
This time, the affair ended in a 2–2 draw. Shoojit Sircar and Antonio Pecora scored the two goals from the Bollywood team while Yuvraj Singh and K.L. Rahul were the scorers from the cricketers' team.

Virat Kohli won Man of the Match.
Abhishek Bachchan reflected on the results, highlighting the cause they were raising awareness: "A draw is a good as a win. At the end of the day, we did this for a great cause… It doesn't matter who wins or loses. The people we did for win at the end of the day."
Ranbir Kapoor, too, shared his joy at being part of this worthy game and cause: "It's been favourite sport since childhood and we took it seriously. We play every Sunday. We're really happy that we can play for such a good cause."

A crowd of 10,000 people attended the match. Stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Shilpa Shetty and Sonakshi Sinha were spotted at the event.
