Europe’s oldest luxury hotel group unveils its 19th mainland hotel in Taiyuan China! It is the first international five-start hotel, which offers superb European service, international gourmet menu, and luxurious living with modern and up-to-date facilities for both international and local guests to enjoy!
The Kempinski Hotel Taiyuan is located at the heart of the Dragon City. One of the unique features is that the hotel has retained both its traditional characteristics that uphold Chinese culture and is also accented with a touch of the European.
If you are in the mood to visit China, this hotel is the place to be – it is located near the city’s main shopping centers – Tainmei Plaza, Fashion Walk, Wangfujing, Parkson, and Lufthansa Centre to name a few. It is close to the modern and upscale office buildings that are all elements and part of the city’s majestic sky line.
The hotel is only three kilometers from Sanxi International Exhibition Centre, a treat for tourists and visitors as its convenient location is only twenty minutes drive from the international airport.
Mr. Carsten Wiegandt, General Manager of Kempinski Hotel Taiyuan said, "As a landmark building in town, Kempinski Hotel Taiyuan will be the first choice of large companies and government offices for accommodation, business needs, meetings and exhibitions. Everything has been considered down to the finest details to allow us to bring our customers a personalized European luxury experience."
The hotel features 363 rooms and suites that have been designed with keeping the contemporary trend in mind, equipped with a coffee machine, wooden floors, bathtubs, and even include the modern rainforest showers only found in modern hotels.
The Executive and Diplomatic Suites are located on the 29th and 30th floor respectively and offer a separate living room and sitting area for guests combined with an area filled with extra-large furnishings and amenities that are designed by the French interior designer Blaise Mautin.
The restaurant introduces global cuisine and a brand new dining concept – the tourists and visitors to the restaurants will be able to choose from a wide variety of selection of German, Austrian, and Chinese delicacies. Furthermore, if you are a guest in the Executive room, you will be living a life of luxury with privileges such as compliment breakfast, weekend brunch from 7:00-14:00, and complimentary use of the lounge meeting room for two hours per day plus afternoon tea and evening cocktails daily.
Tourists and visitors can enjoy freshly baked cakes from the hotel's seven restaurants and bars. The hotel also has its own German pub, Paulaner Bräuhaus , where you can enjoy homebrewed Paulaner beer and immerse in Bavarian traditions. Australian Executive Head Chef also offers imported seafood, Shanxi noodles, and a selection of international cuisine in a relaxing atmosphere!
There is a also a high-end Chinese restaurant, Long Yuan, to tantalize your taste of the Chinese cuisine with a western touch.
The hotel also has a Fitness centre that offers high-tech facilities, a 25-metre indoor heated swimming pool, aerobics, and yoga classes. The Spa also offers a wide range of results-driven treatments that seeks to cleanse and restore the body's natural state!
There are currently 19 Kempinski hotels that are in operation in China, and another property that is scheduled to make its debut in Beijin in 2014.
