NetIP North America is excited to launch its 22nd Annual Conference with this year's theme – “Dare To Be You.” The mission of the non-profit organization is to acknowledge the idea that South Asians can be successful in many career paths. The goal of the organization is to spearhead a movement of professional diversity. The conference emphasizes this through showcasing individual talent success stories thoughout the conference in various genres as well as celebrating the community as a whole.
According to the organization’s official website, “The purpose of NETIP is to serve as an organization that meets the needs of South Asian professionals in North America as they grow in their professional and personal lives. Over the years, NetIP has become a premier networking brand in our community. It has become the unequivocal voice for an emerging group of South Asians, who excel in every aspect of western society, from business to politics to the arts."
The rise of NetIP and its affiliated chapters reflects a general “Coming of Age” by South Asian professionals. We are proud to state that many of our present members and past alumni now hold respected positions of leadership in the private, public, and non-profit sectors all over the world.”
NetIP N. America has chosen San Francisco for 2013 because it is emblematic of cultural, political, professional, and social diversity. In addition, San Francisco is a home to multitudes of culture and ethnicity and has something to offer to people from all walks of life and from different backgrounds and interests.
This year’s conference will include a variety of events that includes professional CLE and CME sessions, key note speakers, interesting thought-provoking panel sessions, and also first ever Fast-Pitch competition in which participants will be presenting their business plans and pitches before the professional venture capitalist judges.
The Judges panel includes Rohit Bodas – Vice President, Strategic Investments, Amex Ventures, Sramana Mitra –Founder of 1M/1M, Strategy Consultant, and Author, Krish Parikh – Vice President, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Sandeep Sardana – Managing Director, Bluepointe Angel Forum and Prashant Shah.

Competiton prizes at the conference include: 1st Place Prize – $24,000 credit for their US Cloud for one year. 2nd and 3rd Place Prizes – $12,000 credit for their US Cloud for one year Free hosting.
There will also be a day dedicated to the Charitable Organization Fair and optional events include an Alcatraz tour, a San Francisco scavenger hunt, and other events hosted by the Delta Learning Company. Attendees can also take up the opportunity to enjoy a fun Improv night, a night out at Minna 111 the art gallery ( DJ in house), as well as a fashion show. The grand finale of entertainment the final evening will be dedicated to a Charity Gala!
