De-stress and re-centre yourself at the Anamaya Resort in Montezuma, Costa Rica.
‘Anamaya’ in Sanskrit means ‘good health’. With this mantra the resort promotes health and wellness for all of its guests by offering a variety of unique escapes for your mind and clean eating for your body.
Take sustainance in healthy and delicious Costa Rican food prepared with freshest organic produce from their co-owned organic farm Rancho Delicioso. The farm is the primary source of food for the retreat centre, offering foods to be picked and served the same day for incredibly fresh dishes.
Rancho Delicioso provides the resort with a variety of items including eggs, passion fruits, papayas, sweet potatoes, cassava, kale, and a variety of herbs. Other unique foods served which have a range of health benefits and are grown locally include cuadrados, giran grenadillas, green papaya, Moringa Leaves, and purslane. Benefits include fighting cancer, improving the immune system, providing better sleep and helps in digestion.
Guests are also provided with an assortment of fresh fruits and green smoothies to equip them with enough energy for yoga practice.

It is so important to us to offer our guests a variety of fresh organic and gourmet food choices over the course of their stay,” She goes on to say “Using ingredients from Rancho Delicioso farm in our daily dishes helps us reduce our eco footprint and means we never run out of ideas for satisfying and nutritious recipes.”
Other than offering a wide variety of gourmet, organic dishes, this unique resort also offers a variety of different packages including yoga, aerial silk, surfing, trapeze and circus skills, belly dancing, tantric workshops, meditation, art, detox and raw food, fire dancing, yoga teacher certification as well as luxurious spa services relaxing the mind, body and spirit.

Guests are also given weekly cooking classes with the well experienced chefs, as well as a tour of Rancho Delicioso and a Farm to Table initiative which has been created to share organic, local food options with guests from around the world.
