Directions:
-
First, tightly cover a small bowl in plastic wrap, and flip the bowl upside down onto wax paper.
-
In a separate container mix equal parts of water and clear glue.
-
Dip handfuls of shredded paper into the glue mixture and lay them on the outside of bowl until it's covered.
-
Lightly press dry paper strips along the outside to make it look messier for a nest look.
-
Let the paper and glue dry for about 12 hours (or until its completely dry)
-
Carefully pull the plastic wrap off the bowl and then away from the nest.
-
There you have it, your very own birds nest for your candy or decorated eggs.
DIY Almond Joy Wreath
Jordan almond wreath / countryliving
Directions:
-
Take a Styrofoam wreath (choose which ever size you prefer) and begin to hot-glue the almonds on the inside circumference of the wreath, overlapping a few to give it dimension.
-
Continue in a circular pattern until the entire front and side parts of the wreath are fully covered.
-
Hang the wreath on a sturdy cotton ribbon, and there you have it your own colourful Jordan wreath.
Carrot Shaped Chocolate Strawberries
Carrot shaped strawberries / meandmyinsanity
Directions:
-
Melt some orange coloured white-chocolate drops found at any cake decorating store. If you don’t have any access to orange colored white-chocolate drops, melt white chocolate chips in a bowl and add a few drops of red and yellow food colouring until you get the desired colour.
-
Dip the strawberries in the chocolate and place them on a wax sheet of paper.
-
With a teaspoon or a skewer, drizzle excess chocolate over the strawberries to create carrot ridges.
-
Allow the chocolate to harden before eating.
