Deepika Makes Her Filmfare Awards Red Carpet Entrance One To Remember
The 60th Britannia Filmfare Awards took place this past weekend at the prestigious Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai on Saturday, January 31. They mark the beginning of Bollywood's award season. As you might have expected, A-list celebrities along with fashion divas made their red carpet entrances before the big award ceremony. But it was one Bollywood A-lister who made our heads turn and take notice.
As jaws dropped and cameras flashed, our girl Deepika Padukone — who may not have been up for any movie awards — sure made our red carpet "yea" list.

The actress took her cue and commanded the limelight wearing a pure white Ashi Studio gown. The couture piece from the Fall/Winter 2015 collection featured a sleeveless, high-neck embroidered bodice with whimsical thigh-high ruffles offset by a dramatic train that flowed effortlessly into cascading, full-bodied ruffles.

She cleverly played it safe by pairing the ostentatious gown with the same hue in her pointed-toed pumps. The actress kept her hair swept up in a bun to show off a perfectly glowing face highlighted by strong brows and deep cherry lips.

The actress also made quite the impression on the men of Bollywood, who took it upon themselves to help her onto the stage during the award show with the gown's train fixed firmly in their teeth.
