A Tropical Wonder By Gauri Khan
To celebrate the milestone of 30 fabulous years of design, the iconic fashion house Satya Paul has joined forces with Gauri Khan — wife of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan — in an exotic, new, exclusive collection called "A Tropical Wonder."

Seen as a style icon in her own right, entrepreneur Khan has taken the plunge and debuted her very first fashion collection, which reflects facets of her own signature style. What better platform to showcase wonderful pieces of abstract art and beautiful construction than the house that’s been doing it for decades?
The Spring/Summer ’15 line — a collection of breathtaking, colourfully printed sarees, tunics, and kaftans as well as dresses and accessories in vibrant hues — is currently available in flagship stores and online.

Khan says, “My signature line of clothing for Satya Paul will showcase a distinctive aspect of my own personal style. Co-creating and endorsing a line for one of India’s finest brands will be a new experience for me”.
With this line inspired by an exotic destination getaway, consumers can expect to be catapulted into nature’s paradise when wearing these effortlessly elegant tropical prints. Whether a casual affair or a semi-formal, this collection caters to both occasions. Just make sure you’re somewhere hot.
Sanjay Kapoor, managing director of Genesis Colors, (the holding company for Satya Paul), stated, “It has been extremely exciting to involve Gauri Khan in this project, something completely different from what we have done before. She has a distinct aesthetic, apart from being a veritable fashion icon. Her collection is shaping up to be a celebration of all things luxurious and chic”
With the absence of Masaba Gupta, it’s a pleasant surprise that the brand hasn’t lost its touch for younger clientèle. Note the contemporary styling below.

And fellas, if you’re reading this with still no present for your lady this Valentine’s Day, may we suggest…
