The twenty-fourth instalment of the Bond franchise, Spectre, hit screens this week and is driving audiences wild.
Daniel Craig has reprised the role of James Bond once again — although previously he said he didn't want to play 007 any longer.
To celebrate the release, we're going back into the history of Bond and looking at the top 10 most mind-blowing James Bond moments.
1. Bond Skis Off a Cliff in The Spy Who Loved Me
While being chased by Soviet spies, Bond weaves through the snow on a pair of skis — and he does it immaculately until he doesn't see a cliff straight ahead and plummets down. As always, Bond is prepared, and his parachute saves the agent from his death.
So, further along the line, this particular scene inspired the mountain-top battle in Inception — only this scene includes helicopters, Bond and a bobsled chase.
Being a secret agent means that, although you may be the good guy most of the time, there comes a point where you can't be soft. This rule is proven in when Emlie Leopold Locque's car is hanging off the cliff edge. Bond has two options: to let it slip away or to help. Of course, our favorite superstar decides to help — but not how you would expect. Instead, he gives the car a slight push to quicken the fall.

8. Tank Car Chase in Goldeneye

Bond may have some of the most amazing cars, but sometimes they're just not in the right place at the right time, so he has to look around for the next best thing. In Goldeneye, the next best thing comes in the form of a Russian T-55 tank while Bond chases General Ourumov through Saint Petersburg.
Bond moments are the best when he has no gadgets available and only has his strength to defeat his enemies. Add height to this and you have an epic scene! There were, of course, a lot more heights in Skyfall.
If you thought kicking the car off the cliff was the most cold-blooded killing, you were wrong. Bond killing Professor Dent has to top all the other kills. Bond lets Dent think he has the upper hand. He even allows him to pick up his gun. But then bam! He shoots him, not once but twice. Very cold-blooded.
