The 67th Emmy Awards, celebrating the best of the television industry, took place on Sunday, September 25.
Style on the red carpet was stunning with Kerry Washington, Elisabeth Moss, Claire Danes, Emma Roberts, Gina Rodriguez and Taylor Schilling making it to our best dressed list.
Lady Gaga made her first appearance at the Emmys wearing Brandon Maxwell. Maisie Williams’ pink dress and furry shoes were hard to miss. Sarah Hyland elegantly carried off a strapless gown from Zac Posen.
Padma Lakshmi, Raza Jaffrey and Mindy Kaling were also spotted on the red carpet.
Andy Samberg hosted the Emmy Awards and did a fantastic job at keeping the audience entertained. In his opening monologue, pointing out that the Emmys this year had the most diverse group of nominees, he quipped, "Racism is over . . . don't fact check that." Other notable jokes were on Kim Davis, Donald Trump and Bill Cosby.

Jill Soloway, from Transparent, won outstanding directing for a comedy series. Jeffrey Tambor, from the same show, won outstanding lead actor in a comedy series. They both used the platform to highlight the problems facing trans people.
Viola Davis, the first African-American woman to win the award for best lead actress, took home the award for the drama How To Get Away With Murder, aptly remarking, "The only thing that separates women of color from anyone else is opportunity."
Jon Hamm, after being nominated 16 times, finally won the award for outstanding lead actor for the drama Mad Men.
Veep (HBO), already a hat-trick award-winner at the Emmys, secured the outstanding comedy series award again.
