Nazneen Contractor Brought Back for Season 5 of Covert Affairs.
ANOKHI Magazine's spring cover model, Nazneen Contractor, is all set to appear in the fifth season of the spy drama, Covert Affairs, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The actress will play Sydney, the new love interest for Calder Michaels, a character played by Hill Harper. The character is described as drop-dead gorgeous, discreet and savvy, but there is more than meets the eye when it comes to her character, who begins enchanting Annie’s (Piper Perabo) fellow CIA officer.
Contractor joins a cast led by Perabo, Christopher Gorham, Harper, Kari Matchett, Peter Gallagher and the newly added regular Nicholas Bishop, as well as the additional guest starts Michael A.Goorjian, Perrey Reeves and Amy Jo Johnson.
Covert Affairs has picked up their 5th season right after the character Annie faked her death, changing her identity to go undercover in Hong Kong to defeat her arch nemesis, Henry Wilcox played by Gregory Itzin. The 16th episode of the fifth season will kick off this summer. Viewers will examine the price Annie will have to pay for her gutsy maneuver and the implications it will have on her relationships, especially her attempt to re-emerge into the world.

A student of theatre, Nazneen has graced the stage on the world-renowned Stratford Shakespeare Festival and has appeared both in film and television. Her TV resume is vast, she recurred on the eight seasons of Fox’s 24 with Kiefer Sutherland, starred in the Canadian series, The Border, had a supporting role in Star Trek Into Darkness and next appears in Frank Langella’s Parts Per Billion.
