Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is back at it again, this time on the small screen hosting a talent-based reality show.
The star of Kal Ho Naa Ho and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham will be hosting Got Talent World Stage Live, an extension of Simon Cowell's Got Talent television franchise, to be held in India.
Shah Rukh Khan who started his career in television back in the late 80s, has since then hosted Indian versions of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? and Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?. He’ll also be returning to the big screen this November with a new Bollywood film titled Happy New Year.
Speaking of Got Talent World Stage Live, Khan said, "We have been talking about this show for almost two years, and I am glad it has happened. We have enough talent here in India to show the world. It's a great platform and opportunity for people to showcase their talent."
"I feel happy and fortunate to have touched the lives of people through my work," he continued, adding that credit should also be given to the directors, producers, writer and creators who are all a part of it.

Cowell added: "The Got Talent format has uncovered some incredible stars around the world, and this is a great celebration of Indian and international artists." Indian broadcaster Colors TV has partnered with Cowell for the LIVE event, and the company's CEO Raj Nayak said that the live show presents an opportunity "to raise the entertainment quotient through the exhibition of exceptional local and international talent."
X Factor judge Cowell is also expected to visit Mumbai for the show, which will take place on December 6 and be broadcast on Colors at a later date.
"We have been associated with the Got Talent franchise for over six years now," said Colors CEO Raj Nayak. "We are looking forward to the on-ground extension of the property – especially because it gives us the opportunity to raise the entertainment quotient through the exhibition of exceptional local and international talent."
It's been reported that the show will feature performances from ten Indian and ten international talents. Tickets to the live taping taking place December 6 at Mumbai's Andheri Sports Complex will be on sale, and the show will air on the Colors channel.
