A new teaser trailer sets the bar high for future Bollywood projects.
Bang Bang, an action-packed romantic thriller starring Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif, broke records with 1 million views in less than 13 hours and has garnered 2.33 million views in less than 24 hours. The film is a Hindi remake of the 2010 Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz hit Knight and Day.
The movie tells the story of an unsuspecting young woman who gets involved with a spy to help clear his name, and if the trailer is any indication, the audience will get more than a romance story. The trailer is heavy on action sequences, including car chases, explosions and heavy artillery.
Known for his starry-eyed roles, Roshan takes on the role of spy Rajveer Nanda, who is intent on clearing his name, but unlike in his previous films, in this one we see him doing his own stunts, a daredevil act considering in 2013, while shooting a high diving action scene, the actor suffered a brain injury, but was back just a few months later to complete work.
Andy Armstrong, the stunt director for The Amazing Spiderman 2, joined the project to help with the action sequences.

Kaif, whose film credits include last year’s Dhoom 3, plays a bank receptionist who unexpectedly gets drawn into Nanda’s world and as the two work to clear his name, an attraction blossoms, but it isn’t the typical love story. The closer the two become, the more danger they find themselves in.
This is the second movie for the duo who previously starred in Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara.
Bang Bang was written by Sujoy Ghosh and Suresh Nair and directed by Siddharth Anand. The film was shot around the world, including locations such as Thailand, India and Greece, to name a few.
With 69,888 likes on Facebook, its fair to say, audiences are eager to see more of this buzzed-about movie. Bang Bang opens in theatres across North America on October 2.
