Lee Daniels' 'The Butler' is a historical drama film, based on the real life events of Eugene Allen, an African-American butler who served in the White House for thirty-four years. The film chronicles various notable and important events that Allen witnessed. The film has been directed by Lee Daniels, and will be releasing on August 16th, 2013.
