Sex and The City Celebrates Its 15th Birthday!

Set in New York, HBO-produced Sex and the City turned 15 years old yesterday. The show about the dating lives of four single women: Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker), Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall), Charlotte York (Kristin Davis), and Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon) won the hearts of their viewers. Each woman had a unique way about her and a distinctive personality. Charlotte was the prudish, girl-next-door, Samantha an independent businesswoman by day and sexy kitten by night. Career-oriented Miranda was a successful lawyer who was a skeptic when it came to men and relationships. Carrie Bradshaw, the protagonist and narrator of the show, was a column writer for the fictional newspaper, The New York Star. She continues to remain the style icon that has been inspirational to both men and women – A woman who was never shy of mixing up her style, creating unique combinations, always innovative, fashion-forward and fearless.

Here are some of her memorable styles:

From season three (2000) – Carrie is seen wearing this feminine floral dress with ruffles creating her signature flirty style. Don't be fooled by the soft hues, paired with Carrie's untamed locks the overall look screams vixen.

Carrie’s eye for fashion makes her one of the most memorable characters that had stepped into the homes and hearts of million female viewers.
