TOIFA Winners Thrill 38,000 At BC Place

Three days of celebrations marking the 2013 Times of India Film Awards (TOIFA), presented in Canada by THIND Properties, have come to a spectacular end as more than 38,000 fans joined hundreds of Bollywood elite for the TOIFA Grand Awards Ceremony at Vancouver's BC Place. This marks the first ever TOIFA ceremony with Vancouver, British Columbia being honored as the chosen location to host the grand premiere event.

From April 4th to 6th, 2013 Bollywood fans enjoyed entertainment in its highest forms with music, fashion and a spectacular movie awards night which included performances and appearances from the world's most well recognized Hindi film stars.

Thursday April 4th began the weekend of festivities with a musical extravaganza with Bollywood Actress Neha Dhupia as the host. Singing sensations Mohit Chauhan, Sunidhi Chauhan, Shalmali Kholgade, Kavita Seth, Hard Kaur and Shiamak Davar performed LIVE. The spectacular Bollywood music and dance night which took place at the Pacific Coliseum, Vancouver, British Columbia.

Acclaimed Director Karan Johar and Actress Chitrangada Singh hosted the TOIFA Technical Awards the following day on Friday April 5th where the biggest stars in Bollywood gathered. Along with the inauguration of the technical awards was a fabulous Fashion Gala featuring heavyweight Manish Malhotra's special collection celebrating 100 years of cinema.

The fashion showcase included segments with several Bollywood showstoppers including: Urmila Matondkar, Raveena Tandon, Ileana D'Cruz, Nargis Fakhri and Sonal Chauhan wearing one-of-a-kind designs by Manish Malhotra.

Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma were the hosts for the actual film awards night that took place April 6th

The entertainment segments that took place thoughout the night were ones to remember, in particular Aishwarya Rai Bachchan returning on stage for her first performance since motherhood.

Others electrifying performances of the night were from hubby Abhishek Bachchan with his Bhangra style moves, Katrina Kaif sizzled in her "Chikni Chameli" set,

Priyanka Chopra in 'girl power' mode

and the king himself SRK who opened up the grand night.

Big wins of the night went to the movie Barfi! with 5 wins and Vicky Donor with 3. Check out the complete winners list below:
