Sonam got an invite from Giorgio Armani to Couture Week!
As Paris Couture Week closes and we reminisce over the stellar creations that were on display, our Bollywood fashionista Sonam Kapoor walks away having added yet another designer friendship to her list.
On January 27th, the actress attended the Giorgio Armani Privé show by invitation as part of Paris Fashion Week Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2015.
In true Sonam style, she did not disappoint when she arrived dressed in Armani Privé! The monotone hue of the couture ensemble didn't deter us from the delightful mix of fabrics and the creative design. With a bold plunging neckline that almost reached her navel, the top also featured a pretty tulip-shaped hemline, which our girl paired with a whimsical below-the-knee organza sheer pant and matching t-shaped heels.
Smart not to overpower the outfit, Sonam kept her hair in a chic bun but played up the drama in her eyes with a romantic smokey grey offset by nude lips. The star's accessories were also on point with the "less is more" theme. The actress wore long, single crystal drops that emphasized the chic factor of the entire getup.
The highlight of Sonam's visit was the snapshot she got with the renowned designer himself.
The show was an elaborate display of 66 exquisite outfits showcasing lightweight, breezy fabrics. Maxi-length skirts in earth tones and nature-inspired prints were the main themes of Armani’s couture collection.
