Shanina Shaik Is Strut-tastic At The 2015 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show

Did you know Aussie model Shanina Shaik is actually a Victoria's Secret Fashion Show veteran?

The model, whose father is of Pakistani and Saudi Arabian descent, hit up the runway for the fourth time last night at Lexington Avenue Armory in New York City along with hot newcomers to the angel catwalk, Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner.

The exotic beauty made a fierce impact when she floated down the catwalk dressed in a butterfly-inspired ensemble that featured a sheer bodice, lace cups and feather-like skirt trimmings.

The star attraction for this year's grand show was of course the much anticipated 2015 fireworks fantasy bra worn by Lily Aldridge and designed exclusively for Victoria's Secret by Mouawad, priced at a whopping $2 million dollars. This year’s musical performance highlights were The Weeknd, Ellie Goulding and Selena Gomez.

How does this high cheek-boned Victoria's Secret angel get herself psyched for the big show? Before the annual event, the 24-year-old pro shared her excitement with fans by posting a video of herself from last year’s show on Instagram with the caption: "So excited!! Another year on the #VSFashionShow @victoriassecret runway!! The BIG day is finally here… yet again."

Our brown beauty ranks the fifth Australian model to appear for the luxe lingerie line, making her debut appearance at the age of 20.

Like all the angels, Shaik kept a strict workout regime for the big day which included a mix of hot yoga, pilates and cycling and documented the transformation process with the hashtag #trainlikeanangel on Vogue Australia. You can find the entire workout and show prep countdown on Vogue.com.au.

Not only did the stunner keep a strict fitness program, Shaik also maintained a healthy diet by eating organic vegetables.

Even though the leggy model kept her famous curves under wraps in chunky knits when cameras caught her on her way to a fitting on Sunday, it was easy to see her excitement for the big day.

For good luck on the big night the model wore a Swarovski angel wing charm and posed with first-timer and fellow Aussie Bridget Malcolm and later posed for a quick elevator selfie with fellow angels Stella Maxwell, Elsa Hosk and bestie Jasmine Tookes.
