Love Yoou Soniye, starring newcomers Karanvir Bohra and Teejay Sidhu, is a charming romantic comedy with a touch of Bollywood.
This energetic, youth-centric film with a feel good factor, is directed by Sahil Kohli and promises to be a holiday-treat for you and your family.
The film is among the first to bring a hint of Bollywood magic to the Punjabi film industry. A significant part of the film covers college life through its protagonists Karanvir and Loveleen. It has an impressive cast and crew from B-town and catchy music by several internationally renowned music composers making their musical debut in Punjabi cinema. Love Yoou Soniye claims to be the first crossover Punjabi film with the goal of drawing not only existing Punjabi film fans but followers of mainstream Indian cinema as well.
Along with introducing the two newcommers, the film's cast includes prominent and loved names like Raghu Ram, Vindu Dara Singh, Upasna Singh, Shivendra Mahal, Hiten Paintal, Harry Anand, Tanya Abrol and Manrina Rekhi, among others. It also has a special appearance by Manav Gohil who has previously made a mark in the world of Indian television as well.
Globally followed musical stars like Rishi Rich, Juggy D, Ishq Bector, Shree D and Harry Anand have created a cool soundtrack for the film, which will surely be one of the main highlights. In total, 14 artists are making their debut in Punjabi cinema through this film.
According to actor and producer Karanvir Bohra, “The film is all about love and relationships – the shoot itself started on the 14th of February (Valentine’s Day). This film was made for my wife Teejay Sidhu”.
The film revolves around the two chahracters Karanvir and Loveleen who fall in love after sharing a love-hate relationship. They fight tough odds to come together after a massive showdown between their families. The best part of the flick is the big twist in the plot, a climax in the film not to be missed.
Overall Love Yoou Soniye is an emotional and entertaining film which will steal your heart away this holiday season.
Watch out for the film's release Dec. 6, 2013.
