The most awaited film of the year, 'Dhoom 3' has already created quite a buzz with its trailer. Since it's October 30th release date, the theatrical trailer has crossed over five million views on YouTube.
'Dhoom 3' is the third installment of the popular Dhoom series featuring Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra who will reprise their roles as Jai Dixit and Ali Akbar. Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif form the antagonist duo. Believed to be one of the most expensive Indian films of all time, 'Dhoom 3' will be released on December 20, 2013 in regular 2D and IMAX formats.
The film's thrilling chase scenes we're shot last summer in Chicago downtown.
The trailer begins with a scene of a child who has taken after his magician father and then cuts to Aamir Khan, who plays the 'clown thief' Sahir, running down the length of a skyscraper.
Abhishek Bachchan is back in his maiden role of ACP Jai Dixit, who is on the hunt of a thief that leaves his signature message and trademark: the joker mask at each robbery site.
We also get a glimpse of Aamir Khan's death-defying stunts and of course we get to feast our eyes on his the famous six-pack abs he worked hard to get for the flick.
Katrina Kaif, plays the latest 'Dhoom' girl Aaliya, a ravishing acrobat expert who romances Sahir. Moviegoers can catch Katrina alongside Aamir in some pretty awesome action sequences.
The 'Dhoom' franchise that began in 2004 had John Abraham and later Hrithik Roshan playing the villains. Written and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, 'Dhoom 3' is produced by Aditya Chopra and slated to release on December 20 this year.
