It's Tuesday, August 21st 2012 in the downtown, loop core of Chicago. As 4pm kicks in, the production company for the third installment of Bolly action movie 'Dhoom 3' begin to move into the Washington/ Wells and Franklin/Randolph intersections. In the midst of the overhead train track noise, trailer trucks, security and extras begin to trickle in while Chicago police attempt to keep the rush hr traffic at bay. From 4 – 7pm set up for action sequences takes place; lighting, camera crew and streets are closed down to the general public.
9pm rolls around and an impressive looking Aamir Khan is spotted on set in costume with a mean looking BMW K1300 R motorbike.
The action sequence showcases Aamir being chased by cop cars along Franklin, from Lake St to Washington St. Unfortunately, due to Production law we are unable to post any shots of the scene itself but fans let me just say the rigid workouts our Dhoom Man, Mr. Aamir Khan has been enduring has definitely paid off!

Just before midnight rolls round production wraps up and the stars make their way back to their trailers for a change and head out with a job well done.
The film is set to release next year with a star cast comprising of Aamir Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Uday Chopra and Katrina Kaif.
Shooting will continue in Chicago for another few months, see if you can catch the cast and crew around town.
