Sunny Brown Releases New Single 'Teri Yaad Mein'
Punjabi Singer Sunny Brown has returned with a second single 'Teri Yaad Mein,' an exceptional track with rich vocal skills in a soothing, heart wrenching ballad. The Indo-pop ballad, is at its heart a memoir in the form of Brown’s voice as he longs for his lover and the memory of who he cannot forget.
Stripped to its basic emotions, it is the story of losing the one you love with the memory of who cannot be forgotten. The video visualizes this sentiment with a lone Sunny Brown lost in his memories. With slow rhythm and beats, the singer is seen drowning in the memories of his lover, engulfed in the void that she has left him. His voice is soothing and heartbreaking yet emotional as he expressed his longing for his lost love.
Sunny Brown is a member of the popular band –Anokhi’s Musical Artist of the Year 2014– Culture Shock with artists Baba Kahn, and Lomaticc.
Culture Shock can be best described as “desi fusion music” with Sunny and Lomaticc both acting as singers and producers while Baba’s experience as an executive producer, lends a special hand to the group’s success and places them at a unique position in the Indian music scene. They have signed 747 records to date and have made a name internationally with albums Blackmarket and Legaltender.
In Early 2014 Sunny Brown announced to all the Culture Shock fans that he was working on his solo album. The first single 'IK Gal,' which featured him singing a very Punjabi Dub step soundtrack, which focuses on Brown’s Punjabi beats and rhythm making the song unforgettable.
Brown says, “I had a lot of success with Culture Shock and I loved the music we made however it was a collaboration of all three members and every artist has a yearning to express themselves. Sunny Brown Sessions is my first endeavuor at a solo album and I'm loving every minute of making it. This album is truly reflective of the emotional ride I had this last year. I hope fans can relate to it and realize they are not alone.”
