Jerry Springer Hosts ‘Tabloid’ Show on Investigation Discovery

Controversial daytime host Jerry Springer to host surreal 8 part series: TABLOID which Premieres March 6 on Investigation Discovery.

You would think with all of these reality television shows such as, Shahs of Sunset and Here Come Honey Boo Boo we were maxed out on guilty pleasure watching by sneeking a peak into other people's lives. Now Investigation Discovery has added to this surreal reality genre with its new one hour show that will expose 8 scandalous real- life tabloid stories. Hosted by Emmy award winner Jerry Springer , Tabloid will premiere Thursday, March 6 at 9pm ET/ 10 p.m. PT on Investigation Discovery.

Notorious for being in the centre of all things scandalous, Jerry has more than enough experience dealing with dysfunctional personalities , 20+ years in fact. In his new show he will be uncovering the truth behind some of the juiciest tabloid headlines. Sound exciting? Here’s a taste of what to expect.

TABLOID – 'The Kids Are Not Alright'
Thursday, March 6 at 9 p.m. ET / 10 p.m. PT
The teenaged years are challenging for most people, but Esmie Tseng copes with pressures from her parents in a particularly bloody way. Later on in the episode, the “Bling Ring” tracks the actions of a group of fashionable young thieves as they infiltrate the world of L.A.'s rich and famous.

TABLOID – 'Devils in Disguise'
Thursday, March 13 at 9 p.m. ET / 10 p.m. PT
Mississippi teenager Charles Hardemann is found near death and it’s his attacker's mask that haunts him as he lies in the hospital fighting for survival. Then in Columbus, Ohio, Gary "Brazon" McMurtry is one of the most famous femaleimpersonators of all time and the reigning “Ms. Gay Ohio” beauty queen, until a killer dressed as a ninja slays him in his home.

TABLOID – 'Dressed for Revenge'
Thursday, March 20 at 9 p.m. ET / 10 p.m. PT
Real-life “Thelma and Louise,” Rose Turford and Joyce Stevens, create a string of costumed cons, taking them places they never imagined. Later, Amara Walters encounters a man with murder on his mind when he enters her house wearing a chilling disguise.

TABLOID – 'Dirty Little Lies'
Thursday, March 27 at 9 p.m. ET / 10 p.m. PT
Lies are at the heart of these two scandalous tragedies – narcissistic nightclub owner Burt Pugach deceives his mistress and she ends up marred for life. Then, viewers meet Emily Sander, who seems like a sweet young woman, but she's actually living a dangerous double life that eventually catches up with her.
