Bollywood To Take Over Dubai With Theme Park Like No Other
The first park of its kind, Bollywood Parks Dubai will give visitors a taste of Indian cinema they won't find elsewhere.
The theme park will feature five zones. Visitors will be able to experience different environments in each zone inspired by some of Bollywood's best blockbusters.
The park is already in the preliminary stages of development. It's slated to open sometime in the next six months.

Dubai Parks And Resorts chief destination management officer Vinit Shah explained, "Nothing like this exists anywhere in the world. So we are very proud of it. It will comprise all things dedicated to Bollywood such as entertainment, food, action, colour, celebrations, etc. We don't talk about every theme park separately, but the whole development is set to open in October this year."
Visitors can expect to see and experience the full-on vibrancy of Bollywood, celebrating the film industry, dining in themed restaurants, enjoying cinematic rides and taking in live performances.
The park will recreate the Bollywood experience through its five zones — Bollywood Boulevard, Mumbai Chowk, Rustic Ravine, Royal Plaza and Bollywood Film Studios featuring Halls of Heroes.

The park will boast a magnificent 850-seat Rajmahal Theatre that will host Bollywood-themed musicals. There will also be 16 rides and attractions based on blockbuster movies like Shah Rukh Khan's Don, Aamir Khan's Lagaan, the classic Mughal-e-Azam, Amitabh Bachchan's Sholay ,and more.
"Area development and landscaping is being done at Bollywood park. Rajmahal Theatre is nearly completed and final finishing touches are being done on a couple of things," Shah said.
The attractions at Bollywood Parks Dubai will be aplenty, so management has announced an annual pass with unlimited visits priced at Dhs755 (approximately $205 USD). It won't be possible to take in all of the park in one day.

Bollywood Parks Dubai forms one-sixth of a massive Dhs10.5 billion dollar project that will spread across 25 million square feet of land on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai.
Along with the Bollywood attractions, the project includes features from Motiongate Dubai, LEGOLAND, LEGOLAND Waterpark, Riverland and the Lapita Hotel.
