Talented Indo-Canadian men are making waves in fashion and entertainment.
The Fall/Winter 2016 Toronto Men's Fashion Week has officially wrapped up. Year after year, TOM features designers who strive to elevate men's fashion. Here, we showcase four South Asian designers who are a force to be reckoned with in the fashion industry.
1. NABEEL
Nabeel Sheikh, owner and wardrobe consultant at The Traveling Tailor Inc., specializes in high-end tailored suits for the fashionable, professional man. His design inspiration comes from his travels to Southeast Asia and Europe. The Fall/Winter 2016 collection showcases crisp suits and plaid in earth tones with a pop of colour from the ties.
2. JAAN CHOXI
Sajan Choksi is the creative director of JAAN CHOXI, a luxury fashion menswear label based in Toronto. His vision is to capture the excitement of the city and showcase it through his suits geared toward modern men. The Fall/Winter 2016 collection included professional and casual looks in masculine colours. The label uses high-quality fabrics — from Italian wools to Japanese leather, Canadian furs and Indian silk.

JAAN CHOXI has been featured in various fashion spreads, like HAROLD MAGAZINE. He has dressed celebrities at the MMVAs and the Toronto International Film Festival red carpets.

3. DALLA
Hussain Shiraz's DALLA launched in 2015 and quickly became a household name. His designs have been featured on the red carpets of the Academy Awards, the Golden Globes, the Grammys, TIFF and the SAG awards.
DALLA has dressed celebrities like Grammy Award winner and Oscar nominee The Weeknd. Here, the singer-songwriter is wearing a cobalt blue jacket with black trim at Diddy's New Year's Eve party, designed by The House of Dalla.
Even Bollywood is a fan of DALLA! Vinay Virmani rocked a blue pinstripe suit at TIFF.
Hussein's designs are for the classy, sophisticated and modern man with a refined fashion sense. The Fall/Winter 2016 collection is dark and edgy — a modern twist on the Middle Ages. The majority of the pieces are black, featuring eye-catching houndstooth, fur trims and metallic shimmer. The designs pushed the envelope by showcasing asymmetrical hemlines. To play a more convincing role, the models accessorized with swords, chainmail headpieces and vests.
4. L'MOMO
