At the coveted annual award ceremony of the UK curry industry as named “The Oscars of the Curry Industry” by Prime Minister David Cameron, includes 10,000 restaurants and 80,000 employees who contribute £3.6billion annually to the economy. Foodies, celebrities, MP’s and dignitaries paid homage to the nation’s finest curry restaurants at the most lauded event of the UK hospitality sector. The industry has become an essential part of the British social, cultural, and culinary sector of the UK, with estimated 25 million curries consumed on a weekly basis.
