The Crumbs Bake Shop inspired by old-time candy shops have given non-drinkers something to look forward to this St Patricks Day. The warm, inviting environment with its wood cases, marble counters and wall to wall treats have produced a batch of green treats inspired by the festive day.

Monday's usually begin with the 'cupcake of the week' but this weekend cupcake lovers can enjoy quirky green festive favourites offered by the packs.

Luck O' The Irish

Chocolate and vanilla (tinted green) cake filled and frosted with vanilla cream cheese frosting tinted green and topped with a sugar shamrock.

The Dubliner

Vanilla cake tinted green filled and frosted with vanilla cream cheese frosting sprinkled with green shamrock quins and white sprinkles.

The Celtic

Chocolate cake filled with vanilla cream cheese tinted green topped with chocolate frosting drizzled with white chocolate and edged in shamrock sprinkle mix.

Irish Taste Pack.

Twelve wee little cupcakes to share. Two each of Irish Squiggle (green for the occasion), Chocolate Mint, Vanilla Sprinkle on green cake and Green and White Swirl on chocolate cake. $24us

Irish Signature Collection: Celebrate with two Irish Squiggles (green for the occasion), two Dubliners, one Celtic and one Luck O' The Irish. $27us

Irish Classic Collection.Four each of Four Leaf Clover (vanilla cake filled and frosted with vanilla cream cheese tinted green), Irish Swirl (chocolate cake filled with mint cream cheese frosted and topped with mint and vanilla swirled cream cheese frosting) and Irish Chocolate (chocolate cake filled with vanilla cream cheese frosting tinted green and topped with chocolate cream cheese frosting). $40us.

History:

Crumbs Bake Shop opened March 2003 on the Upper West Side of Manhattan and became famous for its specialty item, the Crumbs Signature size cupcakes.

According to press Naya Rivera made a quick stop at the bake shop in Beverly Hills this morning. The Glee star apparently picked out some green cupcakes from CRUMBS' Signature Irish Collection.
