At the 56th Grammy Awards, pop music’s glitterati put the red carpet ablaze last night. Ladies wore gowns in gold, nude and white while men conquered with prints, colour and fabrics.
Looks that caught our attention were:
Beyoncé in Michael Costello Couture
Beyoncé stole the limelight in a shear, figure hugging mermaid style white lace Michael Costello gown. The teasing peekaboo number left not a lot to the imagination, scoring our sizzle vote.
Taylor Swift shimmers in Gucci
Swift who later walked away with four grammys that night played it safe in a regal gold floor length gown, proving modesty can also turn heads.
Thanks to Katy Perry for bringing some fun to the red carpet scene with her quirky, girlish charm. We defy anyone who doesn't take a second look at this ballsy Valentino musical note, embossed dress.
There's something to be said about a blonde in red. Pink made our hearts skip a beat in this bold, sweetheart neckline gown by Johanna Johnson.
Dame Maddy proves she's still got it. The Queen of Pop makes a statement by sporting a sexy Ralph Lauren power suit like only she can.
Our fellas of the music scene also brought their fashion A-game out.
Ryan Lewis with the head-to-toe houndstooth and Macklemore in full velvet suit
Lush fabrics, interesting lapels and print made the list.
Colour also got a look in with Kendrik Lamar in this striking blue suit paired with a simple black tee and matching dress shoes.
John Legend kept it dapper in classic navy tuxedo
